Off White House Records Showcase with Down The Lees, danes and Fantasy Boys

Off White House Records is proud to announce the first of many showcases! Throughout the year, we plan to highlight the talent of our label in different cities. Our second showcase will be in the spring with Down the Lees, dances and Fantasy Boys at Bully's.

Down the Lees As a result of releasing three full length albums, an EP and numerous singles, Down the Lees have forged an eclectic musical path with engaging and dynamic soundscapes inspired by genres such as post-rock, shoegaze, hardcore, slowcore, and no-wave. Featuring Laura Lee Schultz at its core, Andy Ashley and Chris Carlson, the Okanagan Valley trio weave a trail of thunderous guitars and pounding drums.

danes: Danes have cemented a reputation as Vancouver's premier peddlers of sarcastic, creepy, and oddly propulsive noise rock. Guitarist and vocalist Geordon Gaskill-Cadwallader, drummer Evan Heggen, and bassist Phillip Moore have honed their signature sound to reference genre titans like Shellac, Unwound and The Jesus Lizard, without committing pastiche, and always hinting at odd, untold horizons.

Fantasy Boys Fantasy Boys sprang from the ashes of Vancouver legends Closed Caption Radio, Robosexuals, Safety Show and What's Wrong Tohei and deliver unapologetically post-rock from the late 90s and early 2000s. We're excited about Shane Phillipson, Shawn Bristow, and Joe Shimeld's latest release!
