About the event
Leadway's musical journey started in the early 80s when New Wave music dominated the airwaves. Steve Milani (bass/keys/vocals) and his brother Jeff Milani (drums/vocals) formed a band so they could start playing their original tunes around their hometown of Burnaby, BC, Canada. Leadway is still going strong today with the addition of Cooper Milani on lead guitar/vocals, Leif Hatzi-Blaak on keys and Holly Cousins keeping the beat! With an affinity for writing catchy tunes, Leadway is now recording songs that were penned in the 80s as well as writing and recording new music with that iconic 80s sound.
